Teacher Education Program (T.E.P.)

First Field Experience

Education 313, Field Experience Evaluation (Final)

This form is used with all majors except Early Childhood Education. The student is placed in the schools for 14 weeks and is at the beginning of his or her Teacher Education Program.

CI 318/EDUC 312 or CI 324/EDUC 312, Professional Semester Evaluation (Mid Term and Final)

This form is used with Early Childhood Education majors ONLY. The student is placed in a Kindergarten classroom for 14 weeks and is at the beginning of his or her Teacher Education Program.

Second Field Experience

EDUC 312, Field Experience Evaluation (Final)

This form is used with Elementary Education majors ONLY. You may know it as the "Elementary Education Cohort" evaluation. The student is placed in the schools one half day a week for 13-14 weeks, is in his or her second semester in the Teacher Education Program, and most often is also in his or her second semester with the same Cooperating Teacher.

EDUC 316, Field Experience Professional Evaluation (Final)

This form is used with all majors except Early Childhood Education and Special Education. The student is placed in the schools one day a week for 13-14 weeks and will usually advance to Student Teaching the semester following this placement.

EDUC 312/CI 319-320, Experience Evaluation (Mid Term and Final)

This form is used with Early Childhood Education majors ONLY. The student is placed in a primary grade classroom (1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade) one day a week for 13-14 weeks and will usually advance to Student Teaching the semester following this placement.

EDUC 312/SPED 417, Field Experience Evaluation (Final)

This form is used with Special Education majors ONLY. The student is placed in a program with students with Behavior Disorders one half day a week for 13-14 weeks and usually takes this field experience prior to, or concurrent with,EDUC 312/400.

EDUC 312/400, Professional Semester Evaluation (Mid Term and Final))

This form is used with Special Education and Dual Certification (Special Education and Elementary Education) ONLY. The student is placed in the schools one half day, every day for 8 weeks followed by a second placement for 8 weeks.
