Teacher Education Program Admission to the College of Education and Human Services does not guarantee admission to the Teacher Education Program. Admission to the Teacher Education Program must be pursued by students seeking state certification. Listed below are the specific requirements for admission. Application packets and information are available in the office of Student Services, Wham Building 135. If you want to begin your professional course work in a fall semester, you must be admitted to the TEP the preceding spring semester. APPLICATION DEADLINES
A student is eligible to make formal application for admission to the teacher education program when the following criteria have been met: 1. In good standing at SIUC or admissible in good standing; For further information on the admission policy, refer to the current SIUC Undergraduate Catalog. Certain Teacher Education Majors are NOT first come, first serve.
