Chi Sigma Iota is hosting an Art Auction Saturday, November 8th at Blue Sky Vineyard. Artwork has been donated by SIUC Art and Design Graduate Students and Faculty. Some of the pieces are worth hundreds of dollars. This is a fantastic opportunity to spread the word to friends and colleagues in our area so that they can enjoy a great afternoon at the winery while supporting our graduate student association.

college-wide dateCollege-wide Meeting/Family Picnic
Friday, September 26, 3:00-4:30 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m.:
The first College-wide meeting of the 2008-2009 year will take place, with introductions of new TT faculty and other staff, information about the College budget, a discussion of College goals, etc.  We may have a few door prizes at this meeting – but instead of as many as in the past, we will have a family picnic dinner following the meeting, with spouses/partners/friends and children most cordially invited to join us!  It will be a nice opportunity to informally socialize with colleagues across the College and perhaps meet some of the significant others in their lives.
